Connect ChatGPT to Your CRM Data with MCP
Give ChatGPT real access to HubSpot, Salesforce, or Attio contacts: pull them, enrich them across 50+ providers, and write the results back. No code.
Connecting ChatGPT to your CRM through an MCP server can give your sales team super powers. And you can go even further: You can give every rep the tools to enrich, analyze, and create automations from that data. This is what we'll be exploring in this blog post.
This guide connects ChatGPT to pipe0, which reads from HubSpot, Salesforce, and Attio and gives your agent 100+ enrichments and searches to choose from. No coding skills required.
Connect the server
In ChatGPT, open Settings > Plugins, select the MCPs tab, and choose Connect to a custom MCP.
Enter a name, for example pipe0. Set the type to Streamable HTTP and the URL to https://api.pipe0.com/v1/mcp. Leave the bearer token and header fields empty.
Click Save, then sign in to pipe0 and approve access.
Connect your CRM in pipe0 (HubSpot, Salesforce, and Attio are supported). Connectint your CRM to pipe0 will give ChatGPT access as soon as you connect the MCP server.
Pull contacts from your CRM
Pull my HubSpot contacts created in the last 90 days into a sheet.ChatGPT runs a CRM search and lands the contacts in a sheet: one row per contact, live from HubSpot rather than from an export. Sheets hold up to 2M records, so "all contacts" is also a fine request.
Enrich what your CRM is missing
Find work emails and job titles for everyone missing them. The agent adds enrichment columns that run as waterfalls: several providers tried in order, only the one that returns a result gets billed, and a contact nobody can enrich shows no_result and costs nothing. Before anything runs, ChatGPT asks you to confirm, because billable operations on pipe0 always require confirmation. An agent cannot spend your credits silently.
Write it back
Update these contacts in HubSpot with the new emails and titles. This action writes the updates conteacts back to Hubspot.
Practice where mistakes are free
Worried about letting an agent near your CRM? Reasonable. Start in the sandbox environment: providers are mocked, nothing bills, and nothing writes to your real CRM. The workflow is identical, so you can rehearse the whole loop, then switch to production when it behaves.
Setup details for other clients (Claude, Cursor, Codex) are in the MCP server docs.
